Lucky 13 Rescue

Mission: Lucky 13 Rescue is completely foster-based, meaning they don’t have a physical shelter. Every dog is placed in a loving foster home where they can decompress, heal, and receive medical and behavioral support before finding their forever family.

Why Animal Rescues?

We started Homebound Society because we love the idea of a welcoming home -a place where everyone (two-legged or four) feels safe, loved, and at home. Rescue animals embody that spirit more than anything. They've often had a rough start, but with the right family, they thrive.

Kansas City has an incredible network of rescue organizations doing life-changing work with limited resources. We wanted to use our little corner of the internet to amplify that work and make it easy for pet lovers like you to be part of the solution - just by shopping for things you already love.

How It Works

💛 We donate: a portion of every purchase goes to that month's featured rescue.
